The Silicon Valley Business Journal (SVBJ) has named a Dalhousie alumna to its 2015 Women of Influence list. Erin Rand (BEng’99, BSc’99) is chief operating officer and secretary at ServiceRocket, a global firm that helps software companies engage with their enterprise customers through training, consulting and support services. Prior to starting at ServiceRocket two and half years ago, Rand worked for Brocade for close to ten years where she was an active member of the company’s Women in Networking group. She is also a member of other groups in support of women in leadership positions in technology.

The SVBJ’s list recognizes 100 women, not ranked, who have made the biggest impact across all professions in the Silicon Valley area. The list aims to promote pay and gender equity in the workforce.

The women will be honoured at an event on May 7, at The Fairmont in downtown San Jose.
