Dalhousie alumni are part of the team responsible for a new program in the Faculty of Science.

Anne Marie Ryan (PhD (Earth Sciences)’06), Lara Gibson (MSc (Agriculture)’12), Allison Schmidt (BSc (Marine Biology)’02, MSc (Biology)’06, PhD (Biology)’13) and Gabrielle Tompkins MacDonald have developed the Certificate in Science Leadership and Communication.

The program is intended to encourage leadership and communication skills in young scientists, and is the first of its kind in Canada.
