Gifts of all sizes
Through alumni support, the Dalhousie Fund forms one of the largest gifts to the university each year. Gifts of all sizes combine to have a direct and immediate impact on students and allow the university to address pressing needs.
Support received through the Dalhousie Fund plays a large role in helping all students achieve success. Students in every faculty and program are impacted by the Dalhousie Fund through opportunities such as increased bursaries and scholarships, work-study placements or new lab equipment.
The learning that students experience outside of the classroom is a vital part of their overall education. Your gift allows young people to move beyond the classroom, to develop intellectual maturity and become the creative thinkers and problem solvers that will allow them to become the leaders of tomorrow.
At Dalhousie, Donors who make an annual gift of $1,500 or more are recognized at the Leadership giving level. Support from our Leadership donors has a tremendous impact on lives of current Dal students. As part of the Dalhousie Fund, The Leadership Society will form one of the largest annual gifts to the university.
You decide where you’d like to make an impact
From providing a student with financial assistance to supporting programs that create a sustainable environment – you decide where you want to make an impact. Gifts can be made to either individual departments, schools or faculties, or specific scholarship or bursary funds.
