Event Details
Celebrate 40 years of Canadian Studies at Dalhousie during Homecoming weekend! Come early for Beavertails (3 p.m.) and stay for a lecture presented jointly with the Faculty of Science: “Brewing up Civilization: The History, Culture and Science of Beer” featuring Dr. Gordon McOuat (University of King’s College). After, put your new knowledge to good use at a (Canadian) beer and (Canadian) cheese-themed reception just outside of the lecture hall. Alumni from the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences and Science are invited. Sociable!
