Event Details

Please join the Faculty of Science this summer for a special visit to the Huntsman Ocean Sciences Aquarium in St. Andrew’s, NB. This event will provide a great opportunity to learn about marine life in the Bay of Fundy, along with research being done by the Huntsman Ocean Sciences Centre and Dalhousie University.

Participants will also have an opportunity to enjoy a presentation by one of our faculty members about research being conducted by Dalhousie University. Dr. Fred Whoriskey, Executive Director of the Ocean Tracking Network (OTN),  will speak about “What electronic telemetry is telling us about what some of our sharks are up to.”

The cost is $25 for adults, and $20 for children 12 and under. Tickets include admission to the aquarium for the day, a buffet lunch, and HST. Lunch includes soup, salad, sandwich, dessert and beverage (coffee, tea, water, juice or soft drinks). Please indicate any food allergies or sensitivities when you register.
