Connections for life – locally
The alumni chapter program has three types of support for alumni to connect with each other locally.
Alumni chapters organize local activities across Canada and the world. Ensure you’re informed by updating your contact information to learn about chapter events near you.
Participate with an existing chapter
There are 14 existing alumni chapters. Chapters host primarily social events (e.g., lobster dinners, pub nights), but what the chapter does is at the discretion of its volunteer leaders. If you reside in the following areas you will be notified of the chapter’s organized alumni events (as long as you let us know you’re there!).
Organize a meet and greet event
If there is no chapter in your area but you want to connect with the other local alumni, the alumni office can help. With our support it will be like you have a team of volunteers working with you. Besides providing significant material and logistical support, we’ll take care of promoting the event. Touch base and find out what’s possible – email email@example.com
Start a new chapter
Below is a map showing the distribution of Dal alumni worldwide. If you’re interested in organizing a new chapter for alumni in your area, your next step is to connect with us for a chat about what’s possible – email firstname.lastname@example.org. You’ll want to have at least one or two other volunteers to work with. We’ll help you identify other volunteers and we’ll outline the considerable support Dal provides alumni chapters.
