Keep your @dal.ca email account after you graduate to give your email communications a professional touch. As alumni, you may continue to access your Dalhousie email account through My.Dal. Use your @dal.ca email address on your resume to make a great first impression! It’s also an easy way to find out about opportunities for alumni and to keep in touch with classmates and faculty.

Alumni email account migration to Microsoft Office 365 – winter 2014
Dalhousie is enhancing its communication and collaboration tools for the entire Dal community with Office 365. This means that alumni with active @dal.ca email addresses will have their accounts migrated to this system beginning mid-January through late February 2014. Your email address remains the same and all messages in your account will be migrated automatically (except your spam, trash, junk, and outbox folders). At this point, we welcome you to review your account and remove any messages that you don’t wish to have moved to the new cloud-based system (refer to Privacy and Security on the Dalhousie webpage for Office 365).
The Office 365 system offers helpful new features for you to take advantage of:
- Your email will now have 25 GB of space
- SkyDrive is a cloud-based storage offering where you can store up to 25 GB of documents
- The Office 365 Calendar features strong integration with email
- My.Dal offers announcements about the service and access to your account
